Spiritual Groups

Small Groups

Small groups play a big role in the life of CBC with over 75% of our regular church congregation attending a group in the week.

We have a variety of groups meeting regularly either in people’s homes or in the church building.

It is the first port of call for pastoral care as smaller groups within the church can journey together, support and pray with one another, and encourage and learn together.

If you would like to be part of our growing small group set up, then speak to Sheena who oversees this vital area of church life.

Prayer Groups

There are many different opportunities to join in the prayer life at CBC.

From a regular weekly Saturday morning meeting to monthly prayers for the Village, and from a bi-monthly Sunday ‘Encounter Prayer’ evening to regular meetings to pray for the persecuted church, prayer is at the heart of everything we do.

We encourage regular prayer within small groups, and also have a number of people meeting together in prayer triplets.  As a church we also promote and attend several national prayer events.

If you would like to know more about prayer within the church, then speak to Joan who oversees this part of the church.
