Current COVID Restrictions AT CBC

At our most recent Leadership Team meeting, we agreed to continue our current COVID restrictions in the same way as they have been.

At CBC, we have currently limited our seating numbers to approximately 50% of capacity. In addition, we have the following guidelines in place:

• Face coverings must be worn in church, unless exempt, at all times unless eating, drinking or singing. This applies to any midweek meetings too.
• Refreshments will still be served after a Sunday service but we ask, where possible, that you sit down to drink or eat, or that you move outside.
• Chairs will remain in spaced out rows – with a maximum of 90 seats laid out. If the congregation exceeds 90, then we will use upstairs as an overflow.
• Windows will be left open to aid ventilation – please wear suitable clothing for warmth and not rely on the building’s heating.
• A photograph will be taken from the back of the church once all are seated on a Sunday. This is to serve as an aid for ‘close contacts’ should anyone subsequently test positive after attending church (we can identify people from backs of heads!). This photograph will be deleted after 7 days.
• Anyone testing positive within 48hrs of attending a church service or a midweek meeting must let us know at the earliest opportunity. This will enable us to put extra cleaning measures in place.

We also ask that, where possible, if you are attending church either on a Sunday or during the week where there will be a large gathering of people, that you take a lateral flow test before attending.

We are seeking to make church as safe as possible for all to return to church when they feel able to do this. If you need us to provide separated seats for you, we can do that, just ask.

Refreshments will be served after the service.

We will continue to stream the service live on the internet and it will also be available to watch anytime you like after it’s finished on Sunday.

Sunday 23rd January

Sunday Morning Service with Judy Cook

Our BMS World Mission supported missionary, Judy Cook, will be visiting us next Sunday, on January 23rd, and as part of our service, will be sharing stories of some of her work at Hope Home in Thailand during this time.

Do put the date in your dairy and join us for what will be a challenging, moving and encouraging time together.

We Are Still Open!

But please call for an appointment.

We don’t want anyone to go without food.

Foodbank Donations

‘The Volunteers at CBC foodbank would like to thank everyone who donated to our work over what has been a challenging period.

However we do not want to accumulate funds now that food donations have restarted and have therefore withdrawn the donation button facility for the time being.’

On Sundays

We’ll upload weekly services to our website, Facebook and Twitter. If you don’t have access to the internet, don’t worry… we’ll get a CD to you!
