Current COVID Restrictions AT CBC

Our Leadership Team recently agreed to lift a number of our current COVID restrictions. Our updated guidance is as follows:

• Face coverings within church will now be entirely optional for Sundays and midweek
meetings.
• If speaking to someone who is already wearing a mask, a mask should also be worn out of
courtesy for the other person.
• Chairs will remain in spaced out rows, with no maximum number and, where possible, we
will provide seating slightly away from the main areas specifically for those who wish to
remain further apart from others.
• Windows should remain open to aid ventilation, as will the bi-fold doors to the sanctuary on a Sunday service – please wear suitable clothing for warmth and not rely on the building’s
heating.
• Anyone testing positive within 48hrs of attending a church service or a midweek meeting
must let us know at the earliest opportunity. This will enable us to put extra cleaning
measures in place.
• All groups should continue to clean and/or fog their utilized areas after use.
• Despite it now not being a legal requirement, no one should attend CBC if they are awaiting a PCR test result, or within at least 5 days of testing positive for COVID and preferably after two negative lateral flow tests.

We are seeking to make church as safe as possible for all to return to church when they feel able to do this. If you need us to provide separated seats for you, we can do that, just ask.

Refreshments will be served after the service.

We will continue to stream the service live on the internet and it will also be available to watch anytime you like after it’s finished on Sunday.

Foodbank

Foodbank Donations

‘The Volunteers at CBC foodbank would like to thank everyone who donated to our work over what has been a challenging period.

However we do not want to accumulate funds now that food donations have restarted and have therefore withdrawn the donation button facility for the time being.’

On Sundays

We’ll upload weekly services to our website, Facebook and Twitter. If you don’t have access to the internet, don’t worry… we’ll get a CD to you!
